This image series is from the Purdue Gait Laboratory of a walking French bulldog. The top panel is a lateral view and the bottom panel is a dorsal view. Markers have been placed on palpable landmarks and are labeled. In the second series of images (86-123) a hip bone has been superimposed. This demonstrates the outward horizontal rotation of the caudolateral aspect of the hip, occurring during swing.
