The purpose of this page is to help you apply the structures you have learned on the dorsal CT scan on the previous page to a VD/DV radiograph.

In your mind, transfer the shaded structures in the shaded, dorsal CT scan to the VD radiograph, above. The CT scan is in a DORSAL plane, progressing from animal ventral to animal dorsal. Cranial is screen up in the CT scan and radiograph. In both the CT scan and radiograph animal right is screen right. As you transfer the structures from the CT scan to the radiograph, remember that the radiograph represents all of the structures being "flattened down" into a single plane. The segmentations to the right of the CT scan is to help you transfer what you know from the segmentations to the CT scan. You will have to "mentally flip" the dorsal segmentation to apply to the CT scan and radiograph.
